**The Chance** Provide general library and customer service duties with a focus on building and maintaining strong relationships between Council and the community.

**ABOUT YOU: Our ideal applicant**
- Enrolled and attending school in either Year 10 or 11 in 2025 (At least 15 years old on commencement)
- Is willing to learn new skills
- Is willing to assist in the provision of a Library service that is efficient, effective and responsive to the community needs.
- Is able to follow policies and set procedures.
- Has the ability to communicate clearly with members of the public and Library team.
- Works as a co-operative team member and to contribute to the enhancement of team outputs.

**YOUR WOKING ENVIRONMENT (for eligible employees)**
- Temporary Term Contract
- Part Time up to 24.12.2025
- 6 hours per week
- Thursday
- 4:00pm
- 7:00pm
- Saturday
- 10:00am
- 1:00pm
- Additional hours may be available to during the course of school holidays
- No experience required as this will be gained on the job

**Hourly Pay Rate**
- Age 15 $13.37
- Age 16 $16.69
- Age 17 $19.63
- A 25% loading is paid in addition to the base rate of pay to work performed on Saturday.

**Eligibility**
- You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident or a New Zealand citizen or hold a valid visa with permission to work.
- You must complete an Identity check
- supplying 100 points of identification for verification.
- Willing to complete an integrity/Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check.
