Medical Receptionist Tweed Heads West

We are looking for a Medical Receptionist to join our small, friendly team, working alongside other receptionists. We’re seeking an empathetic and compassionate person who has a genuine interest in mental health. The right candidate must be a team player, have a positive attitude and eager to learn.

We have a team of professionals including Psychologists, and Psychiatrists who deliver effective, secure, and evidence-based health services. We actively collaborate with General Practitioners and other Medical Specialists to achieve a state of well-being for our patients.

Job Description Medical receptionist (experience required) and administration: your role involves but is not limited to Greeting patients, attending to telephone calls, and booking and rescheduling patients' appointments. Patient service face to face, over the telephone & emails in a confidential manner. Accurately completing client billing and payments (e.g. Medicare, Workcover, DVA and private patients) Document filing, scanning, and preparation of the patient records Adhering to clinic policies and procedures Attention to detail, with excellent spelling and grammar skills Proficient computer skills
- knowledge of Microsoft Office, Emails and excel. Calendar management, including booking patient appointments using Coreplus
- cloud-based software. You must have a current valid driving license.

Hours The clinic is open Monday to Friday 0830 – 1730 NSW time Casual hours available

Salary:

$34.00 per hour – based on experience and performance.
