Gardener (Elanora)

We’re currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Gardener to join our team full-time at Pine Lake Village Elanora, one of our beautiful retirement communities located. This is an opportunity to take pride in your work and make a meaningful impact on the daily lives of our residents by keeping our outdoor spaces safe, clean, and beautifully presented. About the Role **Working 2 days per week, your schedule will be**:

- Monday and Tuesdays 8:30am to 4:36pm

As our Gardener, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our village grounds are safe, clean, and beautifully presented. Your responsibilities will include:

- Performing a variety of gardening tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, mulching, watering and planting
- Undertaking regular maintenance of gardens, lawns, paths, and communal outdoor areas
- Managing rubbish bin placement and waste disposal
- Maintaining and safely operating gardening equipment and tools
- Responding to ad hoc maintenance or gardening requests in line with resident needs and village standards

About You **To succeed in this role, you will bring**:

- At least 1 year of gardening, groundskeeping, or landscape maintenance experience
- Knowledge of horticultural practices and plant care
- The ability to work independently and take initiative to maintain high presentation standards
- A customer-friendly approach and strong interpersonal skills
- Physical capability to undertake manual tasks (up to 15kg lifting)
- Experience in residential communities, retirement villages, schools or commercial grounds will be highly regarded.
