- Supervised Position New Medical Imaging Broadmeadows | Craigieburn | Gladstone Park, VIC Salary package: $260,000-$270,000 inclusive of superannuation, medical indemnity insurance and retention bonus. New Medical Imaging is seeking an international medical graduate (IMG) Radiologist to join our established private radiology practice across Melbourne’s northern suburbs. This position is ideally suited to an overseas-trained radiologist seeking to work in Australia under an appropriate AHPRA supervised practice arrangement, with support from experienced radiologists and exposure to a broad range of private diagnostic imaging services. We operate across Broadmeadows, Craigieburn and Gladstone Park, providing MRI, CT, X-ray, Ultrasound, Dental Imaging and Interventional Radiology services. About the role The successful applicant will work as part of a supportive radiology team, participating in day-to-day diagnostic imaging services under appropriate supervision. You will have the opportunity to gain experience in a busy Australian private practice environment, with exposure to outpatient imaging, procedural work and multidisciplinary clinical decision-making. The role may include involvement in:
- MRI reporting
- CT reporting
- General X-ray reporting
- Ultrasound reporting
- Dental imaging
- Interventional radiology procedures, depending on experience and supervision requirements
- Reviewing imaging with radiographers, sonographers and referring doctors
- Participating in protocoling and clinical workflow under supervision
- Developing familiarity with Australian Medicare, reporting standards and private radiology practice What we offer

- Overseas radiology training and experience
- Current or potential eligibility for AHPRA registration
