About the role
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team at JVG Sound Lighting & Visual Pty Ltd in Tweed Heads, NSW. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial accounting and reporting functions.
What you'll be doing Preparing and analysing financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow reports Ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions Reconciling accounts and identifying and resolving any discrepancies Completing regulatory financial reporting requirements Implementing and maintaining effective financial control systems and procedures Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning Contributing to the continuous improvement of the company's financial processes and systems
What we're looking for A recognised accounting qualification Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar financial accounting role, preferably within the Accounting industry Strong technical accounting skills, including expertise in financial reporting, tax, and compliance Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Solid attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
