**About the Role**

**As a Support Worker, you'll help people stay secure and comfortable at home by**:

- Helping with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming)
- Providing respite care (giving carers a break)
- Helping clients stay active and connected in their communityFollowing care plans to meet each person
- 's needs
- Working as a team to provide the best support possible

**What You Need**

**Must-Haves**: A caring nature
- Passionate about helping peopleGood communication skills
- Able to chat and listen to clients and team membersAbility to work independently
- Comfortable using technology in your role
- Australian working rightsA valid driver
- 's licence
- Access to a reliable, insured car
- A Police Check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to get one)

**Nice-to-Have (but not required)**: Certificate in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, or Community Services (We provide training if you don
- 't have one!)
- Experience in aged care or disability support
- First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to get one)

**_It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role. Clearances must be verified prior to commencing employment with RSL LifeCare. _**
