Civil Engineer Central Coast

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Civil Engineer to join our growing infrastructure team. You will play a key role in the planning, design, delivery, and supervision of civil infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on road construction, pavement works, and local government/major roads projects.

Key responsibilities Prepare and review reports for road, pavement, and drainage infrastructure Undertake site investigations, inspections, and quality control during construction phases Manage project documentation, variations, progress claims, and compliance with relevant standards (Austroads, RMS/TfNSW, local council specs) Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and regulatory authorities Provide technical support and mentoring to junior engineers and site teams Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget

About you To be successful in this role, you will have:

Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering (Bachelor’s degree or higher) Minimum 3–8+ years’ post-graduate experience in civil infrastructure/road construction projects Experience preparing technical reports, specifications, and contract documentation Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Current Australian driver’s licence and White Card (or willingness to obtain)

Highly desirable/good to have Practical experience in asphalt pavement works – including mix design, laying, compaction, quality testing, and defect rectification Exposure to road rehabilitation, asphalt overlay projects, or pavement maintenance programs Familiarity with pavement materials testing and performance assessment
