Central Area Manager (New South Wales)

This role reports to the Operations Manager – Country and is responsible for driving sales performance, operational excellence, and financial outcomes across our concrete and logistics operations throughout the Central Coast, Newcastle, and Hunter regions. The role spans both Heidelberg Materials and Hymix brands.

Key Responsibilities

Utilise operational expertise to enhance concrete plant and logistics performance with a continuous improvement mindset.

Make critical decisions affecting sales, financial reporting, and cost management within budget.

Foster strong relationships with customers to drive recent business and achieve sales targets.

Conduct regular market analysis and gather intelligence to identify strategic business opportunities within your region.

Develop and implement sales strategies to grow market share and expand our customer base.

Inspire, motivate, and coach the team to execute strategies effectively and achieve regional goals and objectives.

What We're Looking For

Degree qualified or with at least 5 years of management experience in quarrying and concrete operations.

Strong commercial acumen with understanding of business impacts and market dynamics.

Proficient in managing budgets and monthly P&L; statements.

Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and results.

Ability to build solid, effective relationships with key stakeholders.

Adaptable team player who can quickly and effectively solve problems.
