Medical Receptionist (Unley)

Hyde Park Medical Clinic is seeking a part-time Medical Receptionist to join our friendly team. As a key member of our front-line team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients and ensuring the smooth running of our medical practice. Your Role will include
- Greeting patients and visitors, and managing the flow of patients through the practice
- Scheduling and managing appointments, and handling patient inquiries
- Providing administrative support, including data entry, filing, and managing patient records
- Handling payments, processing claims, and maintaining financial records
- Assisting with general office duties and maintaining a clean, organised work environment
- Ensuring compliance with medical practice policies and procedures What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a medical or healthcare reception role, with a strong understanding of medical terminology and practices is preferable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide a high level of customer service
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail
- Proficiency in using medical practice management software and standard office equipment
- A friendly, skilled, and compassionate demeanour, with a genuine interest in healthcare
- Flexible availability 3 days minimum per week About us
