About the role We are seeking a Kitchen Steward / Attendant to join our dynamic team at Binna Burra Mountain Lodge in Beechmont, Queensland. This is a casual position, offering the flexibility to work around your schedule. As a Kitchen Steward / Attendant, you will play a vital role in supporting our kitchen operations and ensuring the smooth running of our hospitality services. What you'll be doing
- Thoroughly cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas to the highest standards of hygiene
- Assisting the kitchen team with food preparation tasks as required
- Stocking and replenishing kitchen supplies to ensure efficiency
- Disposing of waste and recycling materials in an environmentally responsible manner
- Adhering to all food safety and workplace health and safety regulations
- Providing exceptional customer service to guests and colleagues What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment, preferably as a Kitchen Steward or Attendant
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enthusiasm for the hospitality industry and a passion for providing exceptional customer service
