About the role We arecurrently seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join our maintenanceteam in a well-established role at our Wallaroo Terminal. In thisrole, you will manage operational requirements to ensure plant andequipment is maintained to the highest standard and runningefficiently, while focusing on safety. Maximising uptime iscritical to ensuring we can deliver an effective and reliableservice to our customers. This rolewill also provide you with day-to-day variety and problem solving,while also incorporating long term planning projects as part of ourpreventative and predictive maintenance programmes. Duties
- Implement and conduct fault finding and repairs to electrical and pneumaticsystems.
- Assist Mechanicalstaff with repairs to Diesel and 12V equipment.
- Assist in developingand implementing solutions and strategies to ensure the timelyand effective response to equipment failures andbreakdowns.
- Perform electrical(including PLC diagnostic) and repairs.
- Workwith the maintenance manager to identify and implement plantimprovements and future capital projects.
- Provide On Callsupport during shipping and harvest periods.
- Travel within the region assisting other teams as required.
- Execute thepreventative maintenance program in line with terminaloperations. About you
- An Electrical workers licence Class A (SouthAustralia)
- Havea willingness to learn bearing lubricationtechniques.
- Competent ininterpreting hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams
- Experience withhydraulic, electrical, mechanical and pneumaticsystems
- Experiencemaintaining fixed and mobile plant and equipment
- Willingness to Assist mechanical staff and learn new skills.
- Positive attitudeand teamwork mindset.
- Theability to work at heights and within confinedspaces
