Group Exercise Instructors - Freestyle (Newcastle City Council)

The Role Genesis is looking for enthusiastic and motivated Group Exercise Instructors to work with a outstanding team. If you think you are a star performer packing classes with your passion, skill and with the support of the world’s leading then Genesis Fitness is for you. Responsibilities
- Work as many as you like, with up to 60 classes per week at our clubs
- Lead group exercise classes in disciplines such as freestyle, yoga, Pilates, barre, Zumba or reformer Pilates
- Maintain professionalism and high standards of customer service and communication
- Collaborate with the team to promote a positive fitness community
- Work evenings and weekends as required Qualifications & Requirements
- Cert III in Fitness, Fitness Leaders Course, Exercise to Music Module or Group Exercise Leader Les Mills (GEL)
- Willingness to complete Freestyle Instructor course if required
- Working with Children Check
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate
- Current CPR Certificate
- Infection Control Training certificate (COVID-19)
- Relevant Program Certification (e.g., Yoga, Barre, Boxing, Zumba, Pilates)
- Current fitness registration with Fitness Australia or relevant body preferred
- Agree to undergo police check as part of the employment process
- Driven to success with friendly can do attitude
- Availability to work evenings and weekends is essential
- Successful applicants will be required to obtain a national police check and a Working with Children check Preferred Previous industry experience is highly regarded.
