Group Exercise - Cycle Instructors (Newcastle City Council)

Genesis is always looking for enthusiastic and motivated instructors to work with a great team. Our instructors must be qualified in their chosen field. About Genesis Fitness With 24 hour access, 7 days a week, our national network of health clubs spans across Australia at 42 locations (and growing!). Featuring every aspect of exercise from weights to cardio, swimming or dance, boxing to cycling, we are passionate about creating a fitness community that is inclusive, encouraging and empowering of everyone. The Role
- Work as much as you like with up to 60 classes per week at our clubs
- Large network of clubs for flexibility for instructors
- Future growth opportunities with Genesis Fitness
- Free facility access Our instructors must be qualified in their chosen field such as:
- Schwinn Cycle
- Freestyle Trained
- Yoga, Pilates, Barre or Zumba specific Skills & Attributes
- A demonstrated commitment to customer service and well developed communication skills
- Cert III in Fitness, Fitness Leaders Course, Exercise to Music Module or Group Exercise Leader Les Mills (GEL).
- Willingness to complete Freestyle Instructor course if required
- Working with Children's Check
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate
- Current CPR Certificate
- Infection Control Training certificate (COVID-19)
- Relevant Program Certification ( eg
- Yoga, Barre, Boxing, Zumba, Pilates etc )
- Prepared to participate in in-house training
- Current fitness registration with Fitness Australia or relevant body preferred
- Agree to undergo police check as part of the employment process
- Driven to success with friendly can do attitude
