Are you an experienced technician who thrives in environments where technical expertise, problem‑solving and attention to detail are essential to success? We employ hands‑on, experienced technicians within our Emergent Group companies Acubis (Mackay, QLD) and Novecom (Newcastle, NSW). Our technicians work in the field to support the deployment, maintenance and repair of critical environmental monitoring and telecommunications systems, ensuring they are protected, compliant and performing at their best.
Roles and Responsibilities
Our technicians are the trusted point of contact on site, building solid customer relationships, planning and delivering maintenance activities, and installing and commissioning equipment safely and professionally.
Requirements and Qualifications
Qualified electricians, auto electricians, or technicians with qualifications in one or more of: Electronics, Electrotechnology, Telecommunications, Radio communications, CCNA Certification and ACMA Open License (Acubis roles).
Experience
Ability to install, calibrate, repair and maintain electronic field systems, environmental monitoring equipment, radio communications, CCTV systems or wireless and wired communications technologies.
Experience with fault identification, troubleshooting and repair.
Ability to follow instructions, work with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team.
Mine site experience or experience working on field equipment.
About The Role
Our technicians support customer sites throughout QLD and NSW. Mobility is a key requirement; a company vehicle is supplied. For remote locations we provide accommodation and a LAFHA for each night away from home. We offer full‑time and part‑time positions, with a flexible start date.
