Beca HunterH2O focuses on water and wastewater solutions, collaborating with clients across Sydney, Melbourne, Newcastle, Tamworth, Brisbane, Adelaide and Fiji. We seek a Senior Structural Engineer to join our multidisciplinary water team in Newcastle. Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in civil (structural) engineering
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in water and wastewater treatment and/or conveyance design
- Knowledge of safety in design, constructability and operational practices and relevant Australian standards and WSAA codes
- Knowledge of risk management with the ability to identify project and design related risks
- Experience in managing small to medium engineering design projects
- A commitment to working safely, and within the company’s HSEQ systems
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to collaborate across a multidisciplinary team
- Well‑developed written and verbal communication skills to interact with a broad range of audiences
- Ability to travel on occasions as the work requires Benefits
