About The Position
Balance Mayfield Aquatics centre provides a variety of Learn to Swim programs tailored to individual needs, from beginners through to competition. Balance also offers school swimming programs and group bookings. We have an opportunity for a casual swimming instructor to join our experienced and passionate team.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate high energy and passion for teaching.
Show leadership while teaching and build strong relationships to role‑model and encourage students to try their best.
Use a versatile teaching style to accommodate students with different learning styles and requirements.
Build relationships with schools and other external organisations.
Maintain a Child Safe environment at all times.
Certifications Required
Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety Licence.
First Aid and CPR (yearly renewal).
Working with Children Check (WWCC).
Class Times
Monday – Friday: AM 8am–12pm / PM 2:30–6:30pm.
Saturday & Sunday: AM 8am–12pm.
