Senior Consultant | GWG Recruitment | Technology & Digital Based in Newcastle, NSW with hybrid working available. 6 month day rate contract with ongoing work and possible extension. Our client, a recognised market leader, is looking for a talented and experienced Software Developer to join their team. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with fellow developers and key stakeholders to design, build, and enhance software applications. Working alongside internal teams and trusted partners, you’ll help create robust, fit‑for‑purpose solutions that deliver on business objectives – on time and to the highest standard. Qualifications & Competencies
- Strong ability to maintain and optimise the performance of business systems
- Track record of delivering high‑quality code, supported by clear and thorough process documentation
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with solid attention to detail to deliver effective user support
- Able to thrive in both technical and non‑technical teams, and work confidently in Agile/Scrum environments
- DevOps and Continuous Integration
- Azure expertise (highly regarded)
- Experience working in complex development environments
- Exposure to maintaining and modernising legacy applications and software
