What You'll Do
Join our growing Mining team in Newcastle and play a key role in delivering practical, high-quality mechanical engineering solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects.
We’re looking for a Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in pumps and piping systems to support the design and delivery of small to medium-scale mining and resources projects. This role sits within our established NSW mechanical team and offers exposure to multidisciplinary project environments.
Design and analyse pumping systems and pipeline networks for mining and industrial applications
Develop technical specifications, reports and design documentation
Support project delivery across concept, design and execution phases
Undertake hydraulic calculations and system modelling
Coordinate with internal disciplines and external stakeholders, including contractors
Contribute to maintenance strategies and operational improvements for plant and infrastructure
About You
Degree-qualified Mechanical Engineer
Proven experience in pump and pipeline design within mining, water, or heavy industry
Strong understanding of hydraulic design and system analysis
Experience preparing technical documentation and specifications
Exposure to project delivery and contractor coordination
Proficient in relevant CAD tools and engineering analysis methods
Practical, solutions-focused mindset with strong communication skills
