- Expressions Of Interest Amentum is continually expanding our opportunities working on prominent Defence projects across air, land and sea supporting the critical capabilities that keep Australia safe. We have a growing presence in cyber, space and nuclear programs. Tell me about these roles The Project/Product Manager plays a critical role in leading and delivering Defence-related projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, compliance with Defence standards, and successful stakeholder engagement. These roles of varying levels involve managing multidisciplinary teams, coordinating with Commonwealth and Defence stakeholders, and overseeing project delivery within scope, schedule, and budget constraints. These roles are based in Williamtown and are full-time ongoing permanent positions. What will I be doing day to day?
- Lead Aerospace projects through all phases of the project lifecycle
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk registers in accordance with Defence frameworks (e.g., ASDEFCON, GATE Reviews)
- Prepare and present project documentation including business cases, status reports, and milestone reviews
- Fundamental Input to Capability (FIC) integration and co‑ordination through high stakeholder engagement and strong relationships
- Manage contract deliverables and ensure adherence to Defence procurement and governance processes
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement across Defence, industry partners, and government agencies
- Ensure compliance with Defence security, safety, and quality standards
- Support integration of capability into operational environments, including training, logistics, and sustainment planning What sort of skills do I need?
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in project management, engineering, or business
- Proven experience in Defence project management, ideally within CASG
- Strong understanding of Defence acquisition processes, ASDEFCON documentation, and capability lifecycle
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage complex projects with competing priorities and limited resources
- Be an Australian citizen and have an NV1 security clearance and ITAR compliance What’s in it for me?
