Lancemore Milawa, located in King Valley, is set at the base of the Alpine National Park and is nestled amongst award winning wineries with a backdrop of snowcapped mountains. Refurbished in 2023, and drawing inspiration from the local environment, the 40-room boutique hotel is a carefully curated space that is reimagining country luxury. Merlot Restaurant is looking to build a solid team of Chefs delivering high quality, consistent and memorable food experience for our guests and visitors. - Proven experience as a Chef in a similar environment
- Be efficient, "hands on" and organised to work through those 'mad rush' moments with a smile
- Well presented, punctual and reliable
- Team player with a passion and skill for delivering food at a standard that complements our Boutique Hotel
- Ability to work under pressure, taking initiative and working both independently and collaboratively
- Positive mindset and a "can do" attitude
- An understanding of food safety, WHS and HACCP principles
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
- Reliable and motivated
