Refurbished in 2023, and drawing inspiration from the local setting, the 40-room boutique hotel is a carefully curated space that is reimagining country luxury.

Merlot Restaurant is looking to build a strong team of Chefs delivering high quality, consistent and memorable food experience for our guests and visitors.

About you

Proven experience as a Chef in a similar setting

Be effective, "hands on" and organised to work through those 'mad rush' moments with a smile

Well presented, punctual and reliable

Team player with a passion and skill for delivering food at a standard that complements our Boutique Hotel

Ability to work under pressure, taking initiative and working both independently and collaboratively

Positive mindset and a "can do" attitude

An understanding of food safety, WHS and HACCP principles

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery

Reliable and motivated
