We currently have positions available for immediate start for experienced electronics and cable assemblers. While the initial positions are casual, if the current workload continues, there are opportunities to transition to full time for applicants who excel. Job Description We are currently looking to fill positions for Electronics Assemblers in various areas of the business including, wiring harness and cable assembly, light mechanical assembly as well as PCB assembly. Your Duties would include:
- Interpreting customer drawings, BOM (Bill of Materials), and work instructions.
- Assembly of wiring harnesses and cables.
- Assembly of printed circuit boards.
- Assembling light mechanical assemblies.
- Maintain production records in line with production process and quality procedures.
- Perform functional testing of circuit boards, cables, and wiring harnesses and record results in line with Engineering test requirements.
- Other duties required within the needs of the business and the skill level of the position.
- Renumeration will be in line with the skill levels of the successful applicants. To be successful, the following will describe you:
- You will be an enthusiastic and confident individual who fits in well in a multi-cultural workplace.
- You will have demonstrated experience with cable and wiring harness assembly including having experience with various crimp tools.
- You will be confident and experienced with a variety of hand tools required for simple to moderate mechanical assembly.
- Experience performing hand soldering, modifications, and/or repairs of circuit boards would be a distinct advantage.
- You will be capable of performing functional testing of products by following procedures prepared by an Electronics Engineer.
- You will enjoy performing repetitive batch assembly but be capably of switching between many assembly tasks.
- You will have a strong attention to detail, take pride in your work and follow instructions with care.
- You will be willing to learn new skills and will be a fast learner.
