We are currently seeking a skilled **Apparel Cutter** to join our growing team on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise in garment production and a passion for quality craftsmanship.
**Key Responsibilities**
In this role, you will:
- Work closely with clients to understand fabric choices, garment styles, and design specifications.
- Spread, align, and mark fabric for cutting to minimise waste and maintain consistency.
- Operate manual and/or automated cutting equipment (scissors, rotary cutters, straight knives, band knives, laser or computer-controlled cutters).
- Transform sketches, samples, or digital designs into accurate cutting patterns.
- Maintain accuracy in fabric placement, grain alignment, and cutting dimensions.
- Assist with garment finishing, including sewing attachments and ensuring final presentation meets quality standards.
- Collaborate with production supervisors and team members to meet production deadlines.
- Keep accurate records of fabric usage and report any discrepancies.
**Required Qualifications**
- **Experience**:Minimum of 2 years of experience in Clothing and Textile Production
**Skills and Competencies**
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Ability to read and interpret patterns, markers, and production specifications.
- Ability to understand client needs and engage with colleagues, and supervisors to clarify requirements.
- Working collaboratively with embroidery, printing, and sewing teams.
- Adjusting patterns and resolving cutting errors quickly.
- Meeting production deadlines while maintaining quality.
- Comfortable working on diverse projects, from uniforms to custom designs.
Pay: $70,000.00
- $80,000.00 per year
