Engineering Solutions Manager (Wangara)

**ABOUT THE BUSINESS**

**MTi GROUP **is an industry-leading design and manufacturer of mining products. Specialising in Drill and Blast solutions, we work with many of the world’s largest mining companies and are recognised for our robust focus on innovation, performance, and safety.

**MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB**
- Increasing the use of MTi developed digital solutions and expanding opportunities globally for the implementation of MTi’s technology product suite to help support the measuring and management of improvements.
- Help to develop a roadmap in order to capture opportunities to maximize the monetization of digital blasting tools.
- Support our customers to match their blasting technical requirements by developing advanced blasting and engineering designs.
- Developing opportunities for new product development in future-facing minerals with the objective of improved blasting processes.
- Use and development of advanced blasting design tools and modelling to support sales and new MTi products

This will be supported by conducting site audits to motivate improvements in Blasting through a well-articulated technical justification and plan which translates into a commercial improvement for the group P&L.;

**PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Mining Engineering degree or equivalent
- Knowledge of the explosive industry is essential
- Portuguese and Spanish proficiency would be advantageous
- Post graduate business qualifications would be advantageous
- Financial and commercial acumen to develop high value business proposals
- The drive, persistence, resilience and tenacity to win a competitive sales environment
- Strong intellectual, strategic and analytical ability
- Self-starter with strong interpersonal and personal influencing skills
- Culturally sensitive and able to operate effectively in the various cultures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable in giving presentation at conferences and to all levels within an organisation/corporation, from Board level to on bench site teams

**Salary**: $90,000.00
- $120,000.00 per year
