Welder/Metal Fabricator (Muchea)

We provide commercial and residential waste management solutions to the Perth and greater-metro area. Servicing from Yanchep in the Northern suburbs, down to Rockingham and Mandurah South of the river. We are seeking MIG Welders for the repair of skip and industrial sized bins in Muchea. Must have :
• Able to use metal gas inert (MIG) combine two or more metals together.
• Conduct a number of fabricating methods that may include cutting, welding, forming, burning, machining, dishing, and other specialized techniques as necessary.
• Stick welding, on the other hand, melts a wire electrode to add strength to the combination.
• Studying blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements
• Selecting, cleaning and preparing metal stock
• Cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal cutting machines
• Shaping and bending metal sections and pipes using hand and machine tools, and by heating and hammering
• Aligning parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instruments
• Joining metal sections using various welding techniques, bolting and riveting
• Examining welds for width of bead, penetration and precision
• Finishing products by cleaning, polishing, filing and bathing in acidic solutions
• Cleaning and smoothing welds by filing, chiselling and grinding
• Must be experienced in Skip and Front Lift Bin Repairs
• Ability to work as an individual and in a team workplace
• Must have the ability to start immediately
