Operations Manager (Landsdale)

Over the past 10 years, the business has grown continuously, and in the coming months will be consolidating multiple warehouses and relocating to a new office and warehouse. We are now hiring an Operations Manager to run day to day operation of the business. About the Role This role is a combination of warehouse management and office management. Key Responsibilities
- Managing our 3 dangerous goods warehouses
- Managing maintenance and upkeep of our 3 forklifts, 2 utes, 1 truck and two SUVs.
- Manage and supervise warehouse staff and delivery drivers
- Handling delivery of sales invoices via our own team or external transportation companies
- Handling receipt of the purchase orders
- Handling walk-in customers and enquiries
- Managing the offices (opening, closing, operations, cleanliness, tidiness, office stocks, etc.)
- Managing staff related issues (attendance, uniforms, etc.) What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 10 years of warehousing and front of shop sales experience
- Highly driven, hardworking and eager to take on challenges individual
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Current driver’s licence (manual preferred)
- Forklift license Desirable Criteria:
- Understanding of all or some of the following areas, fertilisers, irrigation, crop protection, or farm supply products
- Agsafe accreditation
