Arpad Home Care is seeking a qualified and passionate full-time Chef to join our team. Position Details
· Full-time salaried Position
· 38 Hours a week
· Salary: $77,000 + superannuation Responsibilities and Duties
· Preparing and cooking high-quality meals
· Cooking to order and ensuring food quality standards are maintained
· Examining foodstuffs to ensure freshness and quality
· Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills, and other cooking equipment
· Portioning food, plating dishes, and adding sauces and garnishes
· Storing food in temperature-controlled facilities
· Preparing meals to meet special dietary requirements
· Ensuring compliance with all food health and safety regulations Skills and Experience Required
· Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery
· Minimum 1 year experience working as a Cook
· Strong knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations
· Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment Other Requirements
· Must be available to work weekends and rotating rosters
· Strong team player with a positive and cooperative attitude
