Are you a people-focused and organised professional looking to join a supportive general practice team? Warragul Medical Centre is currently seeking a **Casual Medical Receptionist** to help us deliver high-quality care to our growing patient community.

**Clinic Hours**

**Monday to Friday: 08:30 AM
- 5:30 PM**

With the possibility to open on **Saturday and Sunday**:

- 4 hours per day.

**About the Role**

You'll be the welcoming face of the practice — greeting patients, managing appointments, and ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly. This is an ideal opportunity for someone passionate about healthcare, service excellence, and working in a close-knit team.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Warmly greet patients in person and over the phone
- Schedule and manage appointments and recalls efficiently
- Handle patient enquiries and support both clinical and admin teams
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
- Process payments and Medicare claims
- Assist with general administrative tasks (scanning, filing, ordering stock)

**What We're Looking For**
- 1 to 2 years of experience in medical reception **preferred**:

- Best Practice software experience **preferred**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Friendly, professional, and compassionate manner
- Reliable and able to adapt to a rapid-paced environment
- Working knowledge of Medicare and billing processes a plus
- Do you have a current Police Check (National Police Certificate) for employment?
- Do you have a current Working With Children (WWC) Check?
- Must have permanent right to work in Australia
