Dental Assistant – Casual | Dee Why We are looking for a Dental Assistant to join our friendly and professional team at Coastal Smiles Dental on a casual basis. It is also suitable for someone looking to start or grow their career in dental assisting, with training provided for the right candidate. About the Role
- Primarily Wednesday and Friday afternoons, with additional shifts available as required (Approx. 8–20 hours per week initially)
- Provide chairside assistance across general dental procedures
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms to a high clinical standard
- Perform infection control and sterilisation procedures and maintain equipment
- Support patient flow and assist the team to ensure an efficient daily schedule
- Assist with reception and administrative duties when required
- Convenient location close to cafés, shops and public transport About You
- Dental assisting experience preferred but not essential
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- High attention to detail and organisational ability
- Friendly, professional manner and ability to work well within a team
