We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineering Technician (ANZSCO 312312) to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is suited to a hands-on technical professional supporting electrical engineers in the installation, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and control systems used in industrial equipment. - Assist electrical engineers in the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical and control systems
- Carry out routine inspection, servicing, and fault diagnosis on electrical components, machinery, and industrial equipment
- Support the assembly, wiring, and integration of control panels, motors, sensors, and PLC-based systems
- Perform testing and calibration of electrical systems and instruments to ensure correct operation and compliance with specifications
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation
- Assist in identifying electrical faults and implementing corrective actions under supervision
- Support preventative maintenance programs to ensure reliability of industrial equipment
- Record test results, maintenance activities, and technical data accurately in system logs
- Ensure compliance with Australian electrical standards, WHS requirements, and company procedures
- Work collaboratively with engineers, electricians, fabricators, and production teams to support project delivery What We’re Looking For
- Relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical Trade (with post-trade experience), or related field
- Demonstrated experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or engineering environment
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, control circuits, and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Experience with industrial equipment, motors, sensors, or PLC systems (desirable)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
