Warehouse & Operations Associate (Northern Beaches Council)

Our client within the construction and building sector is seeking a hands-on, organised individual to join their team in a varied role supporting warehouse operations, customer service, administration, and logistics coordination. The Role
- Warehouse support and administration duties: preparing customer quotes, processing orders, responding to enquiries, and providing general support to customers and suppliers.
- Assist with invoice processing, purchase orders, and day-to-day operational administration.
- Coordinate stock movements, manage incoming deliveries, monitor stock levels and support warehouse operations including receipting, picking, packing and dispatch.
- Liaise with freight providers and suppliers to ensure orders are delivered accurately and on time. Administration & Customer Support Solid administration skills are essential. You will assist with invoice processing, supplier reconciliations, customer payments, and maintaining accurate records across internal systems. Attention to detail and the ability to manage paperwork and data accurately will be highly valued. You will also be a key point of contact for customers via phone and email, providing a high level of service and maintaining positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams. You will ideally have:
- Experience in warehouse administration, customer service, sales support or operational administration.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence communicating with customers and suppliers.
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Experience within construction, trade, warehousing, or building materials environments will be highly regarded. Desirable
- Forklift licence.
- Exposure to CRM/ERP systems.
- Experience with Shopify or Retail Express (advantageous but not essential).
- Any digital or website support experience will be viewed favourably.
