About the Business
We are a well-established and growing hospitality business in Sydney, known for delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer experiences. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities Planning menus in consultation with management, considering seasonal availability and customer preferences Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to a high standard Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation Managing kitchen operations including stock control, ordering, and cost management Ensuring compliance with food safety standards and hygiene regulations Supervising and training kitchen staff Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment Managing portion control and minimizing food wastage
Skills & Requirements Relevant qualification (Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or higher) At least 2 years of relevant work experience as a Chef Strong knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen operations Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent organizational and time management skills Team leadership and communication skills
