We own and manage farms, factories, and distribution channels, ensuring complete control over the essential aspects of bringing livestock from paddock to plate. We have a current vacancy for a safety focused Qualified Plumber to join our team located in Warrnambool, Victoria. In this role, you will be required to work alongside a crew of like‑minded tradespeople to deliver maintenance onsite. Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Setting out and installing hot and cold‑water systems and associated equipment
- Undertake Storm water, Sewer Installations
- ‘Rough‑In’ Water and Gas services
- Studying blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems and materials required
- Designing and installing sanitary plumbing and water supply systems, discharge pipes and sanitary fixtures
- Assembling and installing mechanical services plant, air handling and conditioning equipment and small‑bore heating systems
- Installing sewerage and effluent pumping equipment and disposal systems
- Installing below‑ground drainage systems and associated ground support systems
- Installing gas appliances, flues and pressure regulating devices
- Fabricating and installing metal roofing, rainwater goods and flashings
- Penetration and inground service installations
- Final ‘Fit off’ and finishing installations with high quality work
- Following standard operating procedures, safety procedures and quality control methods
- Ability to read and interpret plans/drawings Skills & Experiences
- You must be trade qualified/ 4th year apprentice
- Must have a sound knowledge of all tasks and activities related to new installations as well as a sound knowledge of the Plumbing Code and Australian standards
- Gas fitting Licence (preferred not essential)
- Robust experience in maintenance plumbing or similar role will be highly regarded
- Self‑motivated, problem solver & team player
- Be punctual and reliable, well organised, tidy and efficiency
- Have strong interpersonal & communication skills
- Basic computer literacy
- You must have the right to work in Australia (38 hours/week)
- You have already had a Q Fever vaccination or are willing to participate in the vaccination process Why Join Us?
