Thai Cook Timboon

Berry Valuable Thai Restaurant is a successful Thai restaurant in the town of Timboon. It is part of the business of Berry World a self pick strawberry farm. The restaurant requires a cook experienced in running a kitchen and preparing classic Thai dishes and regional Thai specialties. The position is responsible for the day to day preparation of food for cooking in the traditional Thai way. The role has responsibility for ordering food and managing inventory. The role also requires familiarity with Australian food safety standards. Positive English language skills are required as is knowledge of food allergies.

Duties:

Managing stock of ingredients

May plan menu and estimate food requirements

Protected handling and storage of foods

Preparing and cooking of food

Cooking meals to order

Cleaning up kitchen when required

Pay: $56,270.90 – $86,000.00 per year
