Ready to bring your best?**How you will make contributions that matter:**We’re looking for a motivated and reliable Production Operator to join our Everyday Cheese Nightshift team at our Allansford site, on a full-time basis.In this hands-on role, you’ll be part of a high-performing crew responsible for producing iconic Australian cheese in a rapid-paced, automated environment. You will play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting continuous improvement across our production lines.**Responsibilities:*** Operate and monitor equipment in a highly automated Dairy Production facility* Work as part of a close-knit team to meet nightly production targets* Follow GMP, hygiene, and OHS procedures to maintain a food-grade environment* Complete checklists, data entry, and record keeping accurately* Check product for type and quality, segregating product that doesn’t meet standards* Assist in the operation, dismantling, and reassembly of manufacturing equipment for production and cleaning* Perform equipment and environmental cleaning duties, including scheduled Friday night cleans* Report to the Nightshift Production Supervisor and collaborate with Work Area Coordinators**About you:*** Comfortable working from 10:00pm to 6:00am from Monday to Friday* Mechanically minded with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving* Previous experience as a Machine Operator, or working in Food Manufacturing* Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork* Able to use initiative and attention to detail in completing documentation and troubleshooting* A Forklift license will be highly regarded; however, for the right candidate we can support with training**We’ll support you with:*** The opportunity to work with iconic Australian cheese brands in a modern, automated facility* Exposure to multiple aspects of our production environment to learn, develop, and grow in your own way* Accrued RDOs, annual and personal leave, leave loading, and applicable shift penalties and allowancesTo learn more about this vacancy, please click **“Apply for this job”** to submit your application.Saputo is an equal opportunity employer.
