Machine Operators (Experienced) (Warrnambool)

Experienced Machine Operators — looking to upskill? This one’s for you! We’re looking for experienced Machine Operators with Magni capability, or the right tickets and attitude to step into a specialised role operating a Magni Machine fitted with a Woodcracker head. With work across the Warrnambool region, this is a secure, full-time chance with consistent hours, overtime available, and DIDO options for the right candidate. The Role: Reporting to the Supervisor, you’ll play a key role operating a Magni to support vegetation clearance around powerlines. You’ll work across Warrnambool, Portland and Hamilton, typically travelling up to an hour to site, with paid LAHA opportunities available on select projects. This role is centred around:
- Operating a Magni and learning to use the Woodcracker head in live vegetation management environments
- Pre-start and maintenance checks
- Setting up drop zones and exclusion zones
- Safety observing + chainsaw tasks
- Conducting in office risk assessments What’s In It For You

- Permanent, secure full-time role
- Monday to Friday, 8.5-hour shifts from 7.00am – 4.00pm
- Well-maintained equipment and supportive crew environment

- Current driver’s licence
- C6 ticket and Dogman ticket
- Flexibility to work away from home when required
- Mechanical aptitude and confidence working with equipment
- Motivation to learn machinery operation and expand your skill set Great, but not essential:
- First Aid/CPR
- White Card
- MR/HR Truck Licence (desirable)
- Chainsaw operation qualification (Certificate Level 1 & 2) (desirable)
