Eoi Inventory Controller Warrnambool

Ventia is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Controller to join our Defence Clothing System team. Reporting to the Fleet Manager, this role is essential in ensuring the productive and compliant management of clothing inventory across the national network, supporting operational excellence and enhancing Defence capability. This role will ideally be located in Melbourne, however consideration may be given to other locations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage inventory transactions and distribution across the Clothing network.

Monitor stock movement using Defence systems such as CVS, MILIS, and SAP.

Respond to inventory trends and coordinate stock allocation to meet customer needs.

Engage with Clothing stores and support Fleet Managers in issue resolution.

Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure contractual compliance.

Promote a customer-focused culture and contribute to continuous improvement.

What You'll Bring

Minimum 3 years' experience in a logistics or supply chain setting.

Experience within the Defence sector (preferred).

Proficiency in Defence systems including MILIS/ERP.

Solid communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively within a small team.

Australian Citizenship (required for Defence Security Clearance eligibility).

Special Conditions

Must hold or be eligible for Defence Security Clearance (Baseline, NV1, NV2, or PV).

Must pass an Australian Federal Police check and maintain a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).
