**The position** SCOTS PGC College is seeking a dedicated and experienced Secondary English Teacher to join our academic staff.

This is a full-time position to commence at the beginning of Term 2, 2025. Applications close on Friday, 14 March 2025.

**What you will need to possess**

1. A passion for working with children in an independent, secondary school context. 2. A demonstrated ability to create and maintain positive, professional relationships with

students, parents and colleagues. 3. Experience in establishing a safe, supportive and nurturing learning environment that

extends beyond the classroom. 4. A commitment to the pastoral care and wellbeing of each student. 5. The ability to teach English in Years 7-12. 6. A strong commitment to the holistic nature of education at an independent school. 7. The ability to be registered as a teacher in Queensland.
