We are seeking a Cook to join the team at Warwick Aged Care. In this role, you will prepare nutritious, home-style meals that bring comfort and enjoyment to our residents while supporting a secure and welcoming kitchen environment.

Key responsibilities include:

Preparing and cooking meals in line with dietary requirements

Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and presentation

Completing basic kitchen record keeping

Assisting with stock control and ordering

Working both independently and as part of a supportive hospitality team

About You

Essential:

Demonstrated knowledge of commercial food preparation, cooking processes and food hygiene

NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain, where applicable)

Current Police Check or willingness to obtain

Valid Australian work rights (Sponsorship is not available)

Desirable:

Previous cooking experience in aged care or bulk catering (highly regarded)

Basic computer skills

Confident communicator with a positive, team-focused attitude
