Full time Ongoing Position – Commencing July **** The Role The College is seeking a Secondary Science/Mathematics Teacher to join the team in a full‑time capacity commencing in Term 3, ****. This role will involve teaching maths and science across Junior and Senior Secondary. Reporting to the Head of Secondary, the successful candidate will be committed to delivering engaging and high‑quality learning experiences that support students to achieve their personal best. All teaching staff at Warwick Christian College are expected to contribute to the full life of the College, including active participation in pastoral care, sport, co‑curricular programs and special events. Responsibilities
- Have a current knowledge of the Australian Curriculum (Science and Mathematics).
- Have previous experience teaching Science and Mathematics subjects.
- Demonstrate the ability to integrate a Biblical Christian worldview into curriculum.
- Have the capacity to teach Christian faith lessons as part of the character development program.
- Be highly motivated and organised in the planning and delivery of the curriculum.
- Have a passion to see each student succeed.
- Have a commitment to pastoral care and extra‑curricular activities. Qualifications and Requirements
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Secondary Education.
- Current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration.
- Current First Aid Certificate.
- Commitment to active Christian faith, involvement in a local church, and alignment with the ethos of Christian education are essential for all roles.
