Key Accountabilities will include:

Provides engineering support and guidance in Automation systems, and Control Hardware / Software related issues.

Develops functional specifications for in-house coding or external programming and specifies hardware and software for automation solutions.

Ensures testing and acceptance of control system hardware and software.

Provides PLC and PC programming of recent control systems as well as improvements to existing control systems including safety PLC’s, HMI’s and associated hardware.

Design and Project Manage control system installation and commissioning, managing technical documentation, electrical drawings, software version control, archiving and backup of critical data

Prepare project scope, budget and timeline documentation.

Provides Engineering support including RCA for engineering and production issues, including equipment uptime (OEE), preventative maintenance and workflow improvements.

Leads and participates in Process Improvements including safety, quality, delivery and cost initiatives.

Experience in designs current Plant and Equipment ensuring compliance to Australian Standards including Electrical compliance and Machine Safety and Guarding.

Upholds secure systems of work and company safety policies and procedures.

Ensure the compliance of proprietary equipment supplied to Donaldson
