Educational Psychologist (Wyong)

Apex Tutoring is seeking a registered Clinical or Educational Psychologist interested in providing cognitive, psychoeducational and specific learning disorder assessments, along with related psychological services, from our established office locations. This is an independent contractor chance suited to psychologists seeking the flexibility and autonomy of private practice while accessing administrative and practice support systems. As an independent practitioner, you will retain control over your own practice and have the flexibility to:
- determine your own hours and availability
- set your own fees and service rates
- manage your preferred workload and client mix
- provide services to your own existing clients
- maintain independence over your clinical practice and decision-making In addition to your own client base, Apex can facilitate referral opportunities through our established educational network. We currently support approximately 300-400 students and families and regularly work with children and adolescents presenting with:
- ADHD
- Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Specific Learning Disorders
- OCD
- PTSD
- educational and behavioural concerns
- learning difficulties Many families are actively seeking support and assessment pathways, creating opportunities for ongoing referrals where appropriate. Apex can provide practice support services including:
- consulting room access and office infrastructure
- administration support
- enquiry handling and intake processes
- scheduling assistance
- invoicing and account administration
- marketing and promotion support Services we are looking for in a practitioner are:
- Cognitive Assessments
- Psychoeducational Assessments
- Specific Learning Disorder Assessments
- Educational recommendations and reporting
- Related psychological services within the practitioner’s scope of practice This arrangement may suit psychologists wanting to:
- expand an existing private caseload
- establish or grow an independent practice presence
- work alongside an established educational network
- reduce administrative workload while retaining autonomy Requirements:
- Current AHPRA registration
- Relevant assessment experience
- Working With Children Check
- Professional indemnity insurance
