**About the Role**
An exciting prospect has become available for a Retirement Village Manager to lead and manage Talbarra Retirement Living in Waterford. This role involves overseeing the operations and sales of the village, ensuring exceptional resident satisfaction and achieving occupancy targets. You will liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure operations delivers an exceptional resident experience and that business management systems and processes are maintained consistently and in compliance with Bolton Clarke policies. You will be active in promoting a strong customer focus culture, positive relations and brand recognition in the community.**
**Key activities**:
- Resident satisfaction and experience by delivering social activities and events
- Manage engagement of residents and the Resident Committee to optimise resident empowerment and satisfaction
- Lead and coordinate Retirement Village operations ensuring compliance with the Retirement Villages Act, Code of Conduct and Accreditation standards
- Manage budget, resource planning and strategy for the Village
- Support the sales process to ensure agreed sales and occupancy targets are managed, optimised and achieved
- Working collaboratively with the Strata Committee regarding the operation and maintenance of the village
**About You**
- Genuine passion for engaging the retirement living community
- Proven management experience in a similar role within retirement living, business, hospitality, finance, property management, or health sectors.
- Sales experience in property or other Business to Customer environment with an ability to build strong client relationships to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Demonstrated ability to work with legislation. A sound understanding of the Retirement Village Act would be highly regarded
- Proven customer-centric philosophy combined with an ability to “get things done”
- Strong written and verbal communication including demonstrated problem solving skills
- Budgeting and reporting experience to support financial and operational goals
- Experience in Strata Management highly desirable
