Project/Construction Electrician (Crestmead)

The Company Maines Electrical is a growing and well-established electrical contractor based in Crestmead, with a team of over 30 electricians and apprentices. We deliver electrical, air-conditioning, and data/comms across commercial, residential, industrial, and portable building sectors, working with a wide range of clients throughout South-East Queensland, from the Gold Coast to North Brisbane. There is also occasional away work available for employees who are interested. With a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, we are looking for experienced Project / Construction Electricians to join our team. The Role This role focuses on project and construction work across a variety of sites, including commercial buildings, portable buildings, and new installations. You will be part of a team delivering electrical installations from rough-in through to fit-off and commissioning, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Typical work may include:
- Electrical rough-ins and fit-offs
- Cable tray, containment and cable installations
- Installation of electrical and data pits
- Switchboard installations and upgrades
- Lighting and power installations
- Data and communications cabling
- Testing, commissioning, and compliance checks Requirements We’re looking for electricians who take pride in their work, show up on time, and work well within a team environment on construction sites Applicants must also hold the following:
- Current QLD Electrical Work Licence
- Manual Driver’s Licence
- Construction White Card
- Current CPR/LVR certification
- Ability to pass a QLD Police Check
- Experience in commercial or construction electrical work
