**Primary Purpose**:

- Provide strategic leadership to manage and support the development, procurement and delivery of agency major infrastructure and land outcomes, including functions of procurement, design, project planning, construction, financial management, project closure, handover, and ongoing maintenance.
- Provide project management leadership and direction for the timely, productive and cost-effective development and delivery of SACFS infrastructure projects.
- Effectively review and implement the CFS Facilities Asset Plan and lead the development of the CFS technical documents in relation to engineering and specifications for Building Requirements and Standards.
- Provide expert advice to enable effective decision making by SACFS Executives and senior leaders relating to the capital investment program for SACFS infrastructure and land.
- Lead the development of and embed minimum facility/building standards in accordance with the relevant codes and legislation such as, Australian Build Code, Safework SA practices and industry standards and in accordance with the SA Government State Procurement Policy Framework.
- Establish and enhance relationships with key stakeholders internal and\] external to SACFS, including the Emergency Services Sector and the wider SA Government, to ensure effective, compliant and co-ordinated infrastructure service delivery for SACFS members and their communities.
- Contributes to the strategic development and implementation of continuous improvement for SACFS via the directorates key priorities including, but not limited to the infrastructure delivery functions. This may also include emergency response and planning service needs, in accordance with new developments, regulations, policies and best practice.
- Ensure effective personal development through PRD delivered for SACFS members, as part of a volunteer focused service, SA Government agency, and to major stakeholders where appropriate.
- Implement and sustain a customer focused infrastructure unit for SACFS with outcomes focused on high performing team culture.
