- And so much more! About the opportunity: The Site Inspector and Engineering coordinator is part of the Weeks Homes Sales Estimating team and reports to the Sales Estimating Manager. The key focus of this role is to conduct and coordinate timely, accurate pre tender site inspections that identify, document, and report all relevant site conditions, existing structures, and access considerations to support informed estimations/quotes. More specifically, you will:
- Conduct site inspections across allocated locations, completing Pre Tender Assessment (PT1) forms
- Report and document site conditions, and capture photographs of access, services, and existing structures.
- Engage with prospective customers onsite, marking out proposed home positions with survey stakes and providing guidance on site-related queries.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Construction, Sales Estimating, Planning & Drafting) to communicate findings and ensure accurate transfer of site information.
- Manage the Engineering inbox, ensuring emails are actioned promptly or directed to the appropriate department for timely response. About you: You will share a passion for our purpose and be aligned to our core values; better together, be accountable, people matter and think bigger. In addition, you will:
- Exposure to the building and construction industry, ideally with knowledge of building regulations and the ability to interpret floor plans and engineering reports.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, with a professional approach to engaging with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and use initiative
