As a Heavy Diesel Mechanic , you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing heavy-duty trucks and associated equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in trucks
Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and inspections
Complete major overhauls on engines, transmissions, suspensions, and braking systems
Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and rectify issues
Work with a variety of truck brands, including Volvo, Scania, and other makes
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and manufacturer standards
Work independently and as part of a skilled workshop team
What Were Looking For:
Trade Qualification: Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent)
Several years of hands-on truck maintenance and repair experience
Robust diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Experience working with Volvo, Scania, or other truck brands is beneficial
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
HR or HC drivers licence preferred (but not essential)
Visa holders in Australia are encouraged to apply (sponsorship is available)
