Drainer (Baldivis)

GSD Contracting Services Pty LTD is seeking an experienced Drainer to join our business on a full time (at least 38 hours per week), on a permanent, fulltime basis. You will be paid a minimum base salary of $100,000.00 per year + an additional 11% superannuation.

**Main duties**
- Studying blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the layout of systems and drainage materials required
- Setting out of work sites accessing ground levels
- Utilizing theodolites and rotating lasers to install to grade or fall as defined by project documents
- Installing water drainage systems, discharge pipes and sanitary fixtures
- Batter excavations and rock pitching
- Swale drain set out and installation
- Working in remote parts of the state
- Installation of shoring and benching
- Installing concrete and steel culverts
- Working with in a team environment

**The successful applicant will possess**:

- Relevant diploma or at least 2
- 3 years of relevant work experience
- Previous experience as Drainer essential
- Highly organised and able to plan ahead
- Must be available to work hard all year round
- Highly skilled in installing stormwater, sewerage, water and gas underground infrastructure services;
- Experienced in excavation of trenches to facilitate the installations;
- Experienced in reading and interpreting plans and drawings to lay pipes to specifications;
- Experienced in ensuring constructed work is completed as per technical requirements, accurately and on time
- A high team player, experienced in effective communication with all project workers on site from Supervisors, other services installation contractors, machine operators to site labourers
- Experience with concrete finishing and working
- Highly commitment to safe work practices
- White or Blue Construction Safety Card inducted
- A holder of a manual HR driver’s license
- Able to pass full pre-employment medical
