We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Casual Educators to join our vibrant team at Busy Bees at Wellard. Essential Qualifications- Certificate III, Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or an equivalent).- A current and valid Working With Children Check or ability to obtain one.- First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.
Essential Skills and Attributes:
- Ability to provide a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for all children.- Understanding the developmental milestones and needs of children in various age groups.- Capability to design, implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate programs for children.- Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with children, parents and colleagues.- Ability to work as part of a diverse team.- Adaptable to various situations and needs that arise in an early childhood setting.
Desirable Skills and Knowledge:
- Familiarity with the national early learning framework for children from birth to five years.- Understanding of the standards and assessment process to ensure quality service.- Respect and understanding of diverse cultures, families and individual children's needs.- Proficiency in using computers and relevant software to document children's learning and development.- Previous experience as an Educator, Assistant Educator, Childcare Assistant or similar.

For eligible persons support payments may apply, up to $5,000 over a two-year period for a full-time employee. All registered trainees receive paid study and training time. Free or subsidised course fees for eligible people may apply.
Essential Qualifications- Willingness to enrol in or currently enrolled in a Certificate III or higher in Early Childhood Education and Care (or its equivalent).- Must be eligible to obtain or already possess a valid Working With Children Check.
Essential Skills and Attributes- Demonstrated interest in early childhood education and a commitment to professional learning and development.- Basic verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and colleagues.- Ability to work collaboratively within a team of educators and contribute positively to the service environment.- Punctuality and a sense of responsibility, recognizing the importance of consistency for children.
Desirable Skills and Knowledge- Any prior experience with children, such as babysitting, coaching, or volunteering, can be beneficial, even if it's not in a formal educational setting.- Some initial awareness of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) would be advantageous.- Basic proficiency in using technology, as there might be software or apps used for documentation or communication in the service.
