About the role Radiam Early Learning trading as Sagewood Early Learning is seeking an experienced Cook to join our team in Baldivis, WA. This part-time role is responsible for preparing nutritious and delicious meals for the children in our early learning centre. The successful candidate will work closely with our educators to ensure the children receive high-quality, balanced meals that cater to their dietary needs. What you'll be doing 1. Plan and prepare balanced, nutritious meals and snacks for the children in the centre 2. Liaise with educators to accommodate any dietary requirements or allergies 3. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen 4. Adhere to all food safety regulations and centre policies 5. Assist in the ordering and stock management of kitchen supplies 6. Collaborate with the team to enhance the centre's mealtime experience What we're looking for 1. Previous experience as a Cook in an early learning or childcare setting 2. Strong understanding of allergy and allergy management and ability to follow our red bowl program. 3. Strong understanding of nutrition and the dietary needs of young children 4. Ability to work efficiently and maintain high standards of cleanliness 5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills 6. Current Food Safety Supervisor certificate 7.
